またブログをさぼってしまいました。仕事も忙しいのですが、夜８時〜１２時までカメラのレストアをずっとしていたものでついつい後回しになってしまいました。最近ではジャンクの箱買いとオークションでカメラをたくさん仕入れているもので一日３台ぐらいのペースでレストアをしています。やっと少し落ち着いてきたのですが来週には約５０台のジャンクが届く予定です。ジャンクの箱買いだとどんな機種が来るのかがわからないもので楽しいです。
話を本題に戻しますとやはり名機と言われるカメラはジャンク箱にたくさんあります。キャノネットとエレクトロとC３５はかなりの数があるのですがエレクトロの除く２機種は非常に良く出来たカメラであると思います。今回はキャノネットのお話をしたいと思います。
写真は、トップカバーを外したところです。全てブロック化されていることで組み立て工程で非常に組みやすい構造になっています。後各部品の配置に余裕があり無理の無い設計になっています。キャノネットより前のカメラの内部構造を見てみるとスペースシングが無理に押し込んでいるように思えます。このスペーシングはやや大柄になりますが故障は少なくなると思います。メーター回りは今までのカメラではカバーなどでメーターを保護しているものが普通でした。画像を見ていただくとわかるようにメーター保護は一切していませんがスペースを開けることにより軍艦部のカバーで保護しています。
キャノンと言う会社は確かに低価格や機能で勝負する会社なのですが設計的に見ると無理がなく組み立て効率等が非常に考えている会社であると思います。（現在は？ですが（笑））

今やジャンクは陳列棚やワゴンから１台づつチョイスするものではなく
まとめてなんぼの箱売り、箱買いの時代に移ってきたのですね。
キャノネットは時代を変えたエポックとなる機種だと思います。
以前キヤノンのＯＢさんに聞いた話では、流れ作業で素人女工でも
ちゃんと組めて均質な量産ができることを前提に開発したとか。
それまでの職人が組んだ希少なカメラを、ちょっと訓練した女工の
流れ作業で量産する、工業製品としてコストダウンをはかる、
確か、本格的な公差の概念を初めて導入した機材でなかったですかね。
それにしてもすごいペースで挽回を図ってますね・笑

前は良く箱買いしてましたが最近は取引している人が失業してしまったので新たに開拓しました（笑）箱買いはなにが入っているかわからないので楽しいですがプラカメばかりの時もあるので寂しいです。ただオークションとは違い誰も手を付けていないので比較的素直にレストアができます。

確かに新人の女工さんでも組み込みやすい構造になっていますね。ちょっと説明すれば精度は無視すれば簡単にくみ上げられると思います。簡単にしつつも故障が少ないというのはちゃんと考えられている証拠であると思います。

問題は棲み分けにあると思います。町工場や中小企業の技術は上記のようなことで衰退してしまっているのが現状ですが、日本古来の職人技を有効に生かすことをする必要があると思います。そのような方々が動きやすい環境を整えていくことが必要であると思います。ただ職人さんもずっと同じことをし続けるのではなく固定観念を捨てて新しいことに挑戦することも必要であると思います。今、農家で働いているのですが農家も結構職人技が多いのですがそれを継承するつもりの方も少なく、自分の今までやってきたやり方を変えることも出来ない人が多いのです。ある意味頑固なのですが間違いを間違いとして認めない、新しいことに拒否反応を示す、その点が問題であると思っています。
